Default Shield Comment

I ordered the Shield off the internet (9mm). Just walked in the door with it. It fits my smaller hands good and the trigger is great. I have had the Ruger SR9C and the Ruger LC9. I have always liked the Ruger and I am not bashing them in anyway, but the trigger on the Shield is totally different from the Rugers. The Shield is short and crisp. Twice the trigger the Rugers are. I have always had to do something to the Rugers to make them the way I like them, not the M&P Shield. No I have not shot it yet but just the first impressions out of the box. I use to be nothing but Ruger and now I own 4 S&W auto's ( Model 41, 645, BG380 and now the M&P Shield ) Love S&W and intend on buying more. That little BG380 is the best pocket gun I have ever used.

They are rather addictive. Started with a M&P 9c and have added the Shield in 9mm. However, my next purchase will be a Ruger SR22.
