SW1911 E Series
My local shop ordered this pistol for another customer, but that person found one somewhere else months before this one came in. As you can see from my photos the thing is beautiful and wreaks of quality. It feels great in hand and the trigger is fantastic. Doing some research though some buyers have had problems with their E series, especially early examples. This one is right out of the factory having been test fired 06/21/12 so hopefully any bugs have been worked out. My wife wants to buy me a gun so this one at $710 might be the one. Sweet girl.....

$710 seems like a good deal too...I haven't really shopped them but it seems they have usually been more than that when I've seen them...especially new.

Sweet! Can't touch it for that price in these parts. Please be sure and post what you think. I would especially like to know how accurate it is out at 25 yards. Hoping to acquire that model soon.

Buy it, if you haven't already. I got sold on one a couple of months ago by my LGS, and I haven't regretted it for a minute. Absolutely no feeding, extraction or ejection problems with a variety of ammo, ball and hollow point. Among the most accurate 1911s I've shot. And $710 is a great price - I paid $839 for mine, and it was a bargain at that price.

Buy it! There's nothing like the joy of seeing that satisfying-size hole open up right where your sights are once again pointed I got mine from the "same batch" as the one you're considering . . . serial UCT . . .

I was after one for months but none of the shops I dealt with ever could get one. Finally gave up and bought a Sig 1911. Still have only heard of one that became available but it was gone before I could get there. Very happy with the Sig RCS two tone though. Seems like it always happens that way. Big advertising blitz, hype and gun magazine articles and when you go to buy one they never are available or "allocated".
