Looking to see if any 4516 owners have ever added an accessory rail like that of the 4513TSW? I guess you would then call it a 4516TSW?

the dustcover on the 4516 is too thin for threading or rivet attachment.

the 4513 dustcover is meaty which allows the rivets to recess.

not saying its never been done.

I have never seen pics or the mods.

look at the first pic in the BMCM post of his 4516 and the thickness of the dustcover and look at the closeness of the slide area below recoil spring tunnel. in other words, nothing could be riding higher than the thickness of the dustcover.We're way beyond Dremel now, Melted & Melonited 4516-1
