I purchased a bodyguard 380 last week and took it to the range earlier tonight. Everything went pretty well. It did jam after 10 rounds but after that it was good for 50 or so.
I broke it down to clean it and when I put it back together it seems the barrel is looser then I remember it. It wiggles when the slide is back and has a lot of movement.
I was wondering if this is normal? Everything seems to be working other than that.

The barrel on mine has about 1/16" movement max when the slide is locked back. I've had it for a couple of years and have fired at least 500 rounds through it.

Barrel movement is normal with the slide back.

That's correct. Barrel movement is normal when out of battery, and then secures when the slide runs forward. Notice the oval ( not round) barrel opening in the slide to allow "things" to "settle" into battery.
