I bought my M&P45 new a few months ago. I also purchased several different brands of ammo. I have noticed that on some of the brands the rounds are getting jammed by the extractor. Like 2 or 3 from each magazine in no particular order. I have 4 magazines. Two 10 rounders that came with the firearm, and two 14 rounders. All are S&W made. For some reason the rounds can't get past the extractor. When this happens, if I press the extractor lever from the outside, it will give enough slack to allow the round to then feed the rest of the way into the chamber. I have taken this pistol back to the gun store I bought it from and had the S&W armorer check it out. He took it out, ran some rounds through it and found no issues. I then take it back out and continue to have the same problems. My wife who is an avid shooter gave it a shot and had the same problems I have with the pistol. I did post some pics so your able to see what I am talking about. Please help. The ammo I used was Independence and American Eagle. Is this an ammo issue? Does the pistol need to be broken in for a period of time? I am frustrated!
