4506 and 1006
Just picked up a 4506 like new for $499 and a 1006 Like new for $499. These guns look like they were hardly ever carried let alone shot. I thought it was a decent price since I've noticed these things going for more online recently. My only concern purchasing them was the availability of spare parts. I intend to shoot these things and would like to know that parts are still available. These guns feel like they are built like tanks and made to last, unlike a lot of newer guns.

4506 and 1006
Most parts are still available from the factory and also Midway USA stocks a lot of factory parts for both models. You got an outstanding deal on both those at that price.

Congrats on the purchases, those are great prices! There's a local pawn in my area with a nice 4506-1 that won't budge on its $699 price.

Nice guns, great price. Any chance they were so cheap because you're in New York. Aren't they both going to be "illegal" come next year, what a silly law.

Brownells also has many factory replacement parts also, along with exploded views. I just picked up a side plate assembly for my 1006 from them. Enjoy your smiths they are fun!

Dang thats a smoking deal congratulations. I paid 525 for my 1006 4 years ago. It was in very good condition as well. Like the others said parts are availible if you need them. Magazines can be found but are pricey at least I think they are. Enjoy your guns. I recommend a 22lb recoil spring for the 1006 for full power 10mm loads if you want to find your brass. Mine even cycles the light 10mm loads with no problem with the 22lb recoil spring.

last month I missed out on a 1006 in SLC for $400, missed it by a couple minutes. I did however pick up a 410s w/ crimson trace grips for the same price by the same guy.
I've been searching for a 1006 for a little while, not sure I'm ready to pay the $800 they've been going for.

Based on the magazine capacity of these two guns, right? Not that I care, but might have explained the great price.
