Anyone know what a model 5906 in excellent condition is worth?

The S.C.S.W. says $375 in excellent condition & $550 in new in box condition. That said, with the way guns are selling these days, you can figure at least $100 over those prices & maybe even more as all bets seem to be off lately. Hope this helps!

I just picked a very nice police trade-in for $379 online. Of course I had to pay shipping. I missed on another vendor's ad that was selling them for $339.

New m&p goes for approx. 500.00 , a 5904 should sell for 600.00.

Any decent one is easily worth $400+. An LE trade-in may be priced lower, but you never know how it was used (or abused) - and you take your chances with the condition of the one that gets picked for you.
I love my 5906 but I got to hand select it, and it came with 3 mags. I bought in 2012 for $400.

I recently traded at 2022 and $100 for a safe queen in excellent condition. So yeah I'd value at around $450-500

I did not have good luck with the police trade-in 5906 I got in 2011 via CDNN for $299. It was not accurate at all, bore was great once I cleaned it so that wasn't the issue. I just don't think it was a tight gun. It did look nice with Hogue wood grips though, very Miami Vice, but I don't have much use for a minute-of-wall handgun that size.

In this market, a 5906 in excellent condition can easily cost $600 if you get it with box and papers. People are in a bidding war for those. If you want one that has been carried but not abused, it can be significantly less.
