Exclamation S&W 945 PC Compact Price (and Sanity) Check

Hey guys, was out and about in Downtown Dallas, stopped by one of my favorite little shops (anyone in Dallas will know which one I'm talking about) and low and behold what do I spy?

Not one, but THREE PC 945's! One was the standard 5" inch barrel (not my cup of tea)

But they had two PC 945 Compacts! One was in stainless and looked like this;

The other one was either in Melonite or Blued and looked like so;

The Price on the Stainless was $850.00 (Consignment)

The Blued/Melonite was $800.00

I scatter-brained a little and forgot to ask about box/ extra mags but considering they're consigned I'm hopeful.

I've been really searching for a 4506 or a 4566, but as most of you know they're getting almost impossible to find.

But when I picked these babies up and fondled them today I went into ga-ga land! The 1911-styling of the the gun is mucho appealing and MY GOD the TRIGGER!

I've always heard great things about PC guns...but nothing really prepared me for the sheer awesomeness of the trigger's on these guns!

Gentlemen, I seek your sage advise. I'm a S&W Revolver aficionado, but I know enough about 1st-3rd Gen's to be dangerous.

I know PC guns generally go for $1000.00+ but I just wanted some seasoned advise from some of yall who own them, am I wasting my time typing this?

And should I be running back to the store tomorrow hoping to god they're still there?

S&W PC Guru's I beseech you!

Talking

I am not a PC guru.
I am a 945 owner and those are good prices.
You will be amazed by the precision of them.
Buy one you will not regret it.
You may regret only buying one......LOL

Yup. Get both. Shoot them and decide which one you like best. Sell the other and buy ammo with your profit.

A compact 945 for less than $900 is not something I've ever seen before. The one I've come across in person had a much higher price tag. Good luck! Regards 18DAI
