Default Problem: Bodyguard 380 - Slide lock malfuction

I have been having this problem with the BG380.
Bought it brand new early 2013. Shot about 300rds.

The problem is that slide lock won't lock the slide after the last round.

Found out that the polymer lower frame isn't securing the slide lock properly.

I will be contacting S&W to send this in for repair but wanted ti share this information here first.

Here is the pic of comparison of the gap. I can press down.
I have inspected few other BG380s and no gaps...

MIght need to detail strip it and check that the V shaped spring that pushes the slide lock down hasn't slipped off and is getting bound between the body and the frame. If not sure how to detail strip check out the how to section at Galloway Precision
