645 feeding spent casings -- video
Made an extremely amateur video of me trying this out, and for what it's worth, we got the S&W 645 feeding and ejecting five out of five spent shell casings:

Hopefully I didn't break too many rules in the making of this. Funny how nerves get switched to the "nervous" position when you know you're being video'ed.

My 45's consist of a Model 645 and a Colt Gold Cup Trophy. The 645 will feed anything (including empty cases). The Colt will only reliably feed round nose.

My 4506 will feed a magazine of hand cycled empty cases too.

My Rock Island 1911 Officers will do the same. In fact, any properly made semiauto should be able to do it.
