Default 645 feeding spent casings -- video

Made an extremely amateur video of me trying this out, and for what it's worth, we got the S&W 645 feeding and ejecting five out of five spent shell casings:

Hopefully I didn't break too many rules in the making of this. Funny how nerves get switched to the "nervous" position when you know you're being video'ed.

My 45's consist of a Model 645 and a Colt Gold Cup Trophy. The 645 will feed anything (including empty cases). The Colt will only reliably feed round nose.

As Mythbusters would say, that "myth" is confirmed. You can load your mags with a couple of empty cases along with live ammo for some realistic "tap, rack and fire" drills at the range!

My Rock Island 1911 Officers will do the same. In fact, any properly made semiauto should be able to do it.
