Price check on a 6906
What are these going for? VG to VG+ condition, depending on your perspective. some minor spots on the alloy frame and grip. No box or paper. Does have 2 magazines. Has either Dept markings or ID numbers on the barrel, slide, frame No name just AO917.??
Ambi safeties/decocker.
Field stripped at the LGS and almost no wear inside so looks like it was carried but not shot very much.
Thanks

I guess it's a LEO turn in, right? 6906's seem to be the most plentiful of the 3rd Gens, with nice examples to be seen on most of the auction sites. The way you describe it, I would put it around $400. A 6906 was my first 3rd Gen & it's still one of my favorites. Good Luck & please post pics if you buy it.

Yes I gather it was a LEO gun with those markings. I prefer the alloy frame over the heavy all stainless. Down here they are kindly called boat anchors I have passed on many of those. Way to heavy. To me considering the age and it has been used, not sitting in a safe it is one of the better ones I have seen. The slide is Excellent as are the internals.
Buds had some that were completely junk.
The 3913 is still my favorite

That one looks really nice. Perhaps a tad better than the one I am looking at, but there could be worms and mushrooms growing under the grips alloy worms.

I suspect it's a former CA DOC weapon, based on similar markings on one I have: My post here.
It has the 3 markings etched on the barrel, frame and slide. My S/N is BDX and I think it's 2006 production. I know, they stopped making them in 99. I think this was a special run for CA DOC.
Mine is similarly pristine inside with minor dings and wear outside.
Acquired in a trade but I feel like I have about $450 in it.

I did my FFL a huge favor last year so he GAVE me this 6906:
Smith & Wesson Forum - ISCS Yoda's Album: Pistols - Picture
It's actually a re-import, some folks think from Israel, but as yet I am not certain. It's in great shape, a little worn, but shoots like a dream.
Anywhere between 3 and 4 hundred is probably ballpark for these wonderful guns. The closer to 3 you get the more of a steal it becomes....as noted earlier!

Yes the numbers on this one look exactly like yours. Serial number puts it at around 1988-1989.
