Default grip help

When i bought my 4566TSW, it had hogue grips on it. It also came with a set of factory grips. I tried to put on the factory grips, but they were way to wide and wouldn't fit. Was there a double stack or 3rd generation that was made on a larger frame? Thanks for any help!

There were double stack 9mm's - 6906, etc - with a wider frame.

Sounds like you seller may have grabbed the wrong set out of the drawer.

Last time I got any, grips were less than twenty bucks from S&W customer service.
