Default 5906: which parts to have one hand?

Hi all,

Which are the parts that I should have on hand if I want to keep a 5906 going for a while? Of course next to a recoil spring and magazine spring.

Thanks,

Extractor springs and keep it greased and oiled and you should be fine. I personally don't think you can hurt a 5906 .

All springs. Including mag springs. Hammer & FP wouldn't hurt either...
that'd probably be all you'd need for decades...

Recoil and magazine springs. Those are the main parts that are commonly replaced. Those are maintenance items. Other than that magazine followers. Keep the gun cleaned and well lubed ( ut not over lubed and it will run forever.

Use small amounts of grease on the rails, lug on the top of the barrel as well as the two lugs at the breech end of the barrel.

The 5906 is built like a tank and incredibly rugged they rarely break.

I always keep an extra 5906 complete just in case along with my two 6906s.
