I just don't know. I don't have a CS40, so I can't try it. I'm thinking I got it by error sometime back when I was buying every 3rd Gen magazine I could get my hands on.

***UPDATE***
I figured it out! It is a Shield 40 magazine. It got mixed in with my 3rd Gen magazines, no doubt due to my "attention" to detail. This thread is a lock as far as I'm concerned!

Is the pinky extension an aftermarket item? The mags that came with the two 9mm Shields I bought do not look like that.

Yes, it is a Pierce extension. It really helps grip wise & betters control of the little beast.
