smith and Wesson mod 41 Olympic counterweights
I am new to the forum and I found a box S&W marked smith and wesson 22 automatic counterweights???
After doing some research it looks like they are model 41 Olympic counterweights. I do not have a model 41 so I have no use for them. If anyone knows about them or what they might be worth please let me know
Trying to post picture but no luck
Thanks,
Krp1993

krp1993,
I'm curious about something...Does the "Them" in your above quote relate to meaning the Weights & Mount are also the Box...Hmmm??

The OP sent me a pic. He has a complete set, steel weights/allen wrench/box and probably the original nox rust paper. Not sure yet if the bottom weight is a 2 or 4 holer. As I said in my email, these sets are getting harder to find, especially with the complete set like he has. If he wants me to I'll post the pic for him.

Pic's from the OP, 4 hole Olympic Weights
Looks like a virtually new in the box set with allen wrench and nox rust paper. 4 hole bottom weight.

krp1993,
Thanks...I assumed so, but to explain my reason for asking the way I did...I thought it somewhat odd that the later comments seemed to lean more towards the Box itself rather than the value of the Counterweights themselves...Which is quite considerable now that I've seen the Photos (824tsv) was courteous enough to post for you!!
Also, I'm not an expert on these either although I would estimate they're easily worth in $350-$450 Range...Possibly even a bit more to a 41 Collector with an Early 41 needing a Pristine Set of Weights...Which these most certainly are!!

I would hazard to guess that if they were listed on the well known auction site, the OP would be shocked at what the bidding would go up to... that has to be the nicest set I've ever seen in my life!
Wow...

I deleted a post with a link to the auction. I am sure that as a "new guy", Conrad didn't know the rules. Head on over to gunbroker and search on "Olympic counterweights".
