Default Sight adjustment/removal tool for 1076

Have looked everywhere and cannot find a sight adjustment/removal tool that is either made for, or will fit, S&W model 1076. Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks to all,

Estimator

I have just such a tool for sale in the classifieds. What you need is the Mk lll model. You may be able to use a brass punch, but every gen 3 rear sight I've removed has been extreamly tight.

Bench Vise w/ leather jaws, brass punch, WD-40, and a hammer.

Its what we did before some guy created a "tool" and charged $100 for it

You asked about replacement sights in another thread. Did you decide on one? You didn't say in that thread.

Email the maker of this one through eBay. I think the $38.50 one will fit/work (he told me the $10 cheaper one won't). Both are more sturdily built than his competition.

That would be me. Actually, the tool was originally designed for gen3 Smiths.
