Just got myself a S&W 6906 again
I had this same model years ago and I felt like having another one.
I forgot how much I really like these old S&Ws. Its really a shame that they have been discontinued.
I got her for $335 OTD.

Sweet! That was an excellent deal! I have been a fan of the compact Smith 9s since I evaluated a pre-production sample in about 1982 while a Police rangemaster. I sold my last compact Smith 9 (469) in 2012, and missed it so bad I bought another last week.

I have one magazine that I have a flat polymer bottom from a 5906 magazine on, instead of the finger rest. I use it for better concealment, but works better than a metal floorplate from a 59 magazine.
