Default 4506 range outing

Took my 'new to me' 4506 'no dash' to the range last nite; shot great with WW FMJ and my +P handloads.

Side by side with my 1911 it took some adjustment for trigger control but I was able to keep centered with rapid fire and double taps from DA to SA.

Comfortable to shoot with the hot 230 gr recipes; glad I picked it up.

Next time I'll move back to 50 ft and fine tune the sight zero; going to bring my Sig 220 since they are both DA/SA and more similar to shoot.

Happy to have this classic gun in the family !

A few months ago I took my 4566, Springfield TRP 1911 and Sig P220 to the range. Just shooting regular 230fmj. All were close in accuracy but of the 3, Sig was the most accurate

Just this morning I went to the range with my new to me 4566TSW. I also took a Glock 21, a SIG P220, and a CZ97BD. Maybe it was because it was the first time I had shot it, but I got the worst groups with the 4566TSW. I got the best groups with the CZ and the SIG and the Glock were about the same.
