ARE THESE THE CORRECT GRIPS? / S&W 669
I recently purchased a S&W 669 from a LEO in SoCal. Regardless of the condition and/or "completeness" (no box, magazines, etc.) I am happy with the purchase. I do own several S&W stainless steel semi-auto (several may be too modest - lol) and none of them have the grips that this 669 has on it.
Are these factory grips for the 669? They seem, for lack of a better word, "cheap". Just flat black plastic. There is a S&W logo on them (faintly). However, that doesn't mean too much in today's knock off world.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There were actually two versions of grips for the 469/669, the early "pebble grain", which you have, and the later checkered version.

I thought they looked bad too, so I took some sandpaper to mine.
