On a 52-1, assume you are at 25 yards-- how much does 1 click of elevation on the factory sight move your POI?
Assume you zero at 25 yards and are shooting 2.8 gr Bullseye in a 148 gr WC, roughly how many clicks of elevation do you need to adjust for 50 yards if any?

Windage clicks should result in 1/2" at 50 yds, and 1/4" at 25 yds, according to factory specs. Elevation should be 3/4" at 50 yds, and 3/8" at 25 yds. This is straight from the spec. sheet; your mileage may vary.
RWJ thanks. tried to send you a PM and request a copy of that datasheet if you vould mail me one. If so PM me, and I will provide an address once your PM box is free.
Very good information.

When you are shooting at a 3.36" 10-ring and a 1.695" X-ring at both 25 and 50 yards, 3/8" (.375") or 3/4" (.750") can be the difference between winning and losing. Keep practicing.
Go to the range. Set up a target @25 yds. and another@ 50yds directly behind.Support the gun on the bench with sand bags until the sights align on the target to your "hold": either center bull or 6'o clock. Fire a 5 shot group. Now load 5 and move rear sight up 1 click at a time (counting the clicks)and fire a round until you are in the X-ring. You now have a record of your needed sight change for 50 yd. SF. If you change anything in your load, including a new batch of the same powder, you have a record to refer to.
If you don't have access to a 50 yd range and need to shoot in a BE match about the only thing I could suggest is come up 3 clicks hold dead on fire a shot and see where it goes. Make hold and sight changes accordingly.
