I have a LNIB 3913TSW w/rail. A local guy has a LNIB 4013TSW no rail 9 + 1 round version. He's interested in a trade. What do you all think? Should I make the trade? Is it worth it? Just looking for opinions and thoughts.
Hmmm, I've had both TSW's, though thankfully without rails. For me, the appeal of the 3913 and 3914 is much greater than the 40S&W version. I can shoot the 9mm and 45ACP compact 3rd Gens far better than the 40 versions. Just me, I suppose, but I tend to do better with 40 in a heavier framed pistol. I've had both TSW and non - can't say that I've really experienced much difference in accuracy. I have even have 457's that I shoot as well with as my 4513TSW...
My final thought would be buy a 40S&W version like a 4013/14, or even the TSW - before letting go of your 3913 (unless you're tired of the rail).

The 4013TSW pre-rail should be rarer since they were only made for about 2 years (1997-1999) while the 3913TSW railed was made for 6 years (2000-2006) & would be easier to replace.
Guess it boils down to whether you prefer 9mm or 40S&W?
