Today was a 356TSW Day.......another 356TSW showed up. Updated 2/7
I sure some of you know, I like the unusual stuff. So 356TSW was made for me.
I had three revolvers and a semi auto that had been converted to this cartridge before I ever bought my first factory 356TSW.
Earlier this week I learned of the passing of a local 356TSW enthusiast. Today I was fortunate enough to get 4 of his Performance Center 356TSW firearms.
All were in very good condition as you will see in a moment. I paid fair market value for them (OK, the lower side of FMV) and am quite thrilled with the new additions to my family.
First up is a 3566 Limited.
You might have noticed the magazine sticking out of the 3566 Limited in that second photograph. This purchase included a ziplock bag of spare magazines. One of those was a factory marked 20 round 356TSW magazine. I have never seen one of these before. The follower is clean, I doubt that a round of ammunition has ever been placed in it.
Next is a beautiful 3566 Compact. A total of five 12 round magazines and two 15 round magazines ended up in my possession.
The last two 356TSW firearms were Performance Center 940 Specials, aka "The Pocket Rocket". The first thing I did was check serial numbers to see if they were a sequential pair....no luck
All in all it was a GREAT day.
Now I have to figure out how to tell my nieces not to expect the really cool Christmas presents I had promised them over summer vacation

All that you need now is the SD 3566 model with the 4.25 inch barrel. These are the best of the early Performance Center models. I have them and will pass them down to my sons and grandsons. Enjoy.

I am sorry that I can't sell you one, it is a New York reload
Bell Charter Oak makes the holster. I just need to get one ordered

Wow just wow...
Congrats on the additions, very nice. I'm lucky to have my SD356TSW, Roy Jinks letter and FMJ-HP ammo to go with...
Best, Dave

All the magazines are marked 356TSW.
Including the two with each firearm there were 5 of the 12 round magazines, 7 of the 15 round magazines and just the one never used 20 round magazine
Now I need to find a SD356 to fill out the group

Actually the older one got a 649 with CT grips when she got her Real Estate license.
The younger one is a local JrROTC Rifle Champ. She has my old Mossberg 144 LS-B. She was the only kid joining JrROTC that already had machine gun experience.
Neither one is the Firearms Enthusiast that her Uncle is. Probably because they live too far away.

WOW........Just WOW. That was my response when I got the news.
I can't mention how it got missed the first time, but a third 356TSW model 940 suddenly turned up yesterday from the same source.
Today it was reunited with it's brethren.
I know that GOD wanted me to have these 356 TSWs. When I checked the serial numbers, the one with the Shamrock inlay has my birthday for the serial
It is a little early to celebrate, I actually spend my birthday at the SHOT show every year.

Well a box from Bell Charter Oak arrived this week.
It contained the NY Reload holster I ordered late last year.
This carries very nicely. Weight is no problem with a pair of 24 ounce revolvers. It is even easy to draw both at the same time
I am going to wear it for a few more weeks and then decide if I want a second NY Reload made to carry a pair of Colt Commanders

colt_ssa,
You should find a good home for that 20 round 356 TSW magazine. My home would be the place.
