Default SW22 Victory torque

Already saw threads here about the new SW22 Victory, so I thought I'd post another. I took mine out after purchasing it 6 days ago and it was a great day of shooting. Went through about 300 rounds with no problems.

I read some were having screws loosening after a few hundred rounds, but I prepared for that. I cleaned the screws and holes with alcohol, dried them out, and then torqued things down. I torqued the barrel screw to 25 inch/pounds and the action screw to 35 inch/pounds. Nothing came loose in 300 rounds. If things loosen, I'll increase by 5. I know this is less than what came from the factory. I don't shoot any single firearm 300 times per session, so these values might work for me. I think I'll get a quick 1000 through it to make sure everything is working right.

Now, for my opinion. It was great. Trigger was light and crisp, causing an occasional double tap. Sights were spot on for 25 yards, about 8 inch groups off hand. This surprised me because I'm not that good. The only time I used a rest when I was shooting at a 12" gong at two hundred yards. I have no idea where those shots landed, but I didn't hear any gong. All my ammo was CCI mini mag 40gr and CCI Tactical 40gr. I also shot the last of some 25 year old CCI Blazer, 25 rounds, with no problem.

Clean up was a breeze. Swish, swoosh and it was clean again. I plan on leaving this thing stock.

I know this firearm isn't for everyone, but for me at 65, it works. We'll see if I like it after a few thousand rounds.

Everyone stay safe. Dave

The Victory was my 71st birthday present to myself. I sold my Neos today. I haven't shot it once, since I got the Victory. I have 2K rounds through the Victory in 6 weeks. I didn't even know I had that much ammo, until I added up the numbers. 2 failures, one caused by the loose screw in my first hundred rounds. I solved that problem first with an Oring, then with Vibra-Tite threadlocker for adjustable screws.
