'New to me' S&W 3954
A few days ago I went into one of the many LGSs in my AO to make a payment on a layaway (ca. 1958 Colt Trooper .38 SPL). As I walk up to the counter I glance in the S&W section of cases and spot this little gem. I had absolutely NO intention of buying it. In fact, I'd never even considered owning a 3954, but..... The price of $299 OTD persuaded me to bring it home. It has really grown on me since. I'd say it is in in NRA VG+ condition with extremely minimal wear. I've since discovered how few of these were made by S&W. That information has only sweetened the pleasure of owning it.

You did real good
I carry a 3953 and believe it is the finest CCW S&W ever produced! I prefer it to the 908 & 3913.

Any handgun made by S&W that fires is worth at least $299...

WOW!!!! Great price for a pistol that only 1,000 were produced!! I have 4 of them!!! The first 440 production run has serial numbers TJA8500-8939.
