Default Stainless steel and walnut, yum

Finally got my "replacement" 645 and it wasn't over a
thousand dollars! Far from it. (Still not complaining about
current prices.) The 745 grips are the ones I told all of
you about a few weeks ago, from Numrich listed as 659
grips. I had the full compliment of Ed Brown parts from
many years ago.
The 639 was a basket case. Missing lots of parts and in
rough shape. It took a while getting the right parts, but
did go with the 3rd Gen safety which I have a few of.

Nice, very nice. You've worked wonders. I doubt that 639 will ever get back in the basket!

Default Kindred Spirits

We must be kindred spirits as your likes are the same as mine! I put checkered Coco Bolo grips on my pair of 645s.

Congrats on your 645. Makes for a fine looking pair.
