Default SW Victory Grip

I am starting to shoot steel and bowling pins and have found that when I raise the pistol from the ready position that i have to tip it down to see the red dot which takes second or so. Has anyone modified the grip with tape or other means so when the pistol is raised, the sight is aligned? I am thinking that if i build it up a little where the web of my hand goes that it might help change the angle. Thanks for any help.
