Anyone make a fiber optic front sight for the 3rd Gen Smiths???????

I put a Dawson on my 3914. It came with the "pusher" tool and a few different colors.

It was a few years ago- front sight only.

Thanks was it the 5906 sight.................. still listed? Do you remember the height?

dove-tails cuts should be the same?

I'm bumping this post to the top again , hoping for some more info on the topic. With warm weather coming, I'll be shifting back to carrying my 3913. As I get older my eyes are having a harder time picking up the sights on the 3913. I too would like to have a fiber optic front sight installed as well as a new rear. Has anyone sent their slide to Novaks ? I see they list the sights, however the front sight is back ordered.

not fiber optics but front and rear have tritium inserts....the XS 24/7 Big Dots will never be confused with target sights but work well for a defensive pistol................ with a front sight Helen Keller could see

BAM, sorry, but I have failed you. I don't have the receipt, so I can't say for sure that they are the same, or the height.

I may be too set in my ways but, while you can pick up the FO pretty quick, I'm not sure it's worth changing. I guess you have to try it to decide.
Doing it over again, I'd just leave them stock.

I put a Dawson FO on my 6906 (and 2.0 Shield) for the same reason....old eyes. And I'm afraid I didn't keep the receipt either.

Numrich has 5906 front Night Sight height 0.239 and 0.E front sight 0.229 Someone correct me if needed pistol shoots low you want a lower sight ,also depends on what grain ammo. 147 grain hits really low with my pistol and aim high, hold center with 115 and 124 gr

Novak sights (Novak Designs Inc. - Main Page) puts out a fiber optic sight. I have a 4046 TSW and have been looking for FO's. Just got a reply from them today. If you go on their sight search by "handgun model" it will take you to a sub directory. Look under "3rd generation" and they'll be there. Rear is about 50.00 and the front is 42.00

The top portion of my sight on a 4006 TSW is .125 That's not including the dovetail base. I believe on Dawson's that's how they list them is the top portion.
