Default $200 MPD 4043TSW

Just picked up this gem. Not sure what to think but for $200 I guess it's whatever. This is a Memphis PD 4043TSW with MPD prefix serial number, that has had a very hard life. Some one tried to "clean it up" and did a piss poor job. They took off so much material you can't read the serial number or seem the MPD shield so well. Only way to know the serial number is the one under the grip. You can tell the pistol was covered in rust at one point and for awhile too. I think for $200 tho why not, inside it looks to have been fired very little, shame that it was abused. Guy who sold it to me either lied saying it was ready to go or doesn't know how a semi auto pistol works ( no tension to the hammer due to the lack of hammer spring plunger). Any how had a spare one so didn't bother me. Anyway enjoy the "eye candy" or a good giggle either or.
