Hey everybody I’m hoping to get a little history on my 39-2 I’ve been checking online for my answers and can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. I’m hoping to find out when it was made/released and what it’s worth today. The serial # A697***

Welcome and as far as I'm concerned the model 39 is one of the finest semi-auto pistols there is.

If in really nice shape 98% plus box, papers and tools they're going for $600+

If it's has honest wear and is about 85% no box or other goodies then they go for $400-$500

The 39 you're inquiring about is circa 1981.

Here's a pic of mine which is of the same vintage.

Most likely shipped around Jun/Jul 1981.
