Default “guzzi” Scalloped CS40 Slide

I just got it back and am very limited on time tonight.

Again, the scale is my wife’s and is representative but actually true to other posted weights of other slides.

First impression was WOW, just wow. Amazing workmanship and attention to detail. The assembled pistols “seem” lighter and “easier” to get to point of aim and look good doing it. Range sessions will confirm.

Of course the CS45 was the original purpose but I’ve since got the TDS two tone, (the stainless deal feel through but that’s fine.) I’m still a couple of weeks out for “TercGen” to send me one of his fantastic and perfect grips. (Still no rush “TercGen”.)

I hope that those that were concerned about this piece of high art and superb craftsmanship slide was going to be put on an undeserving frame can see that no, it is not.

Thanks “guzzitaco”.

Jim

I was lucky enough to stop by Guzzi's one day as he was working on this slide. The amount of care and attention to detail is just amazing. I hope to see more of these works of art in his new Instagram page and in person. Can't wait for the new slide for my 5906. I'll be sharing pictures as it progresses.

I often wonder why it is that so many of the folks I would like to work with live so far away! It just ain’t fair!

The two tone really pops and shows off the “Guzzi Scallop”

If you go back and look at the 457 he did for me with hand tools , and look at this piece of art , you will see that no matter the tools , the man is an artist . I think he's found a niche here on the forum . Soon he'll probably have more work than he can handle .

Very nice 4T5GUY!

We are indeed blessed to have both guzzitaco and BMCM to both customize and keep these fine 3rd Gen pistols running.

Thanks to both, for their fine work! Regards 18DAI
