Yeah, I'm inclined to agree ... in the context of THIS G&A market. With the cost of two spare mags, and ammo, I'd say that's a deal, LOL.
Looking at a 4566 in good condition, comes with 4 mags and 50 rounds of ammo. What do you all think of the asking price of 599.00? Is this inline with today's market ? Thanks
If I read that correctly; a 4506 for $1325! Wow, I have one in excellent condition that came with a DeSantis OWB holster, extra set of brand new stock grips, unboxed custom KSD grips and 4 mags for $500 less than a year ago. Regardless, I wouldn't sell it for even $1325 today, they're just too hard to come by in this kind of condition. That price makes me feel good about the $400 I paid for mine two years ago. It also makes me feel okay about the $999 I just paid for a minty 4506 no dash a few days ago off Gunbroker. I'd been looking for one locally for some time and had just about given up. The no dash gun I'd found locally three years ago was the only one i'd seen in years. I was surfing Gunbroker when the second one popped up. I had been watching several others and they all jumped past 1k pretty quickly. There's a -1 going right now with a high bid of $1325 and a couple of days to go on the auction. This one had a buy now price of $999, so I decided to carpe diem that sucker for my first online gun buy. My youngest son just bought a minty 5906 from a shop in Virginia for just over $700.
Prices are crazy right now and hopefully things will level out in the future, but I think we've seen the last of decent examples going for $300-$400.
