I recently got my hands on a S&W 22S-1. The 22S is basically the same as the 22A except it has a steel frame instead of aluminium.
There were 3 variants made. Variant 1, which mine is, was manufactured from 1997 to 2007.
I have searched looking for a way to determine the manufacture date based on the serial number but no luck. Does anyone have any data on how to find the manufacture date?
