Howdy,

Can anyone tell me how the briley bushings are installed into the pc slides. Are they threaded in or pressed in like a normal third gen?

Just a WAG but I'd say pressed in.

I found another thread from a fellow forum member that shows they do thread in. They should be reinstalled with red lock tite.. and the ti nitride bushing is your wrench to reinstall.. and the flats should be in 3 and 9 o’clock position.

My shorty forty bushing would back out from time to time..and while it did seem to turn in by hand I didn’t want to attack it trying to remove it with out asking first!!
Will remove tommorw and clean threads out..apply some read lock tite and reinstall…if all goes according to plan!!
