I have a nice circa 71 mdl-41 and would like to find a counterweight set with box "collector"quality for it. How hard are they to find and pay for . How much would be "top dollar"? May make the OHIO show this weekend. Thanks guys any help will be appreciated.

You can expect to pay anywhere from $250.00 to $450.00 in my opinion. I see quite a few at the online auctions. Seems best to purchase a set with an entire package including the model 41.
There are 2 variety's of the steel counterweights, the earliest set has 4 holes in the bottom weight, and the later series has 2 holes. The 4 hole set would be worth more money as there were not as many made.

What does a set consist of? I have seen steel and aluminum mounts and two steel weights that can be stacked and attached to the steel or aluminum mounts. I have never seen a boxed set.
