Trying to help my son-in-law out on this ... He has a SW40VE and wants a SERPA holster for it. Problem we are running into is none of the SERPA info indicates which holster might work. I will appreciate hearing any feedback on this. He seems pretty set on a SERPA but if there is something similar to a SERPA level 2 holster I'd like to hear about it.

I would email their customer service. They got back to me pretty quick. The Serpa for the M&P 45 is the same one that fits the Glock 21, etc. The one I have for my Glock 36 is marked as fitting the Glock 19, 23 etc.

The Serpa for the Glock 21/M&P45 will fit the 40VE, although the holster is a little long (but not objectionably so). I used to carry one working for an armored car company and it worked quite well.
