We still haven't seen a DA/SA micro compact 9mm hit the market yet. Perhaps 30 Super Carry might make a micro compact DA/SA akin to the P365 more feasible. A P365 sized DA/SA chambered in 30 Super Carry - would you buy one?

I really don't see much use for the .30 Super Carry. Just don't see the advantage over 9x19. Besides, I already have "super .30's." They're called Polish and Romanian Tokarevs in 7.62x25.:p

I have a couple of earlier flavors of the .30 Super as well. 7.63 Mauser and 7.65 Parabellum. If nothing else they are centainly classier than any plastic doodad that might be chambered in .30 Super

Wouldn't mind seeing that new Beretta 80X chambered in it. Still can't fathom why S&W didn't release it in the CSX.

If the cartridge were less expensive and available in a firearm that I liked, then sure, I could see myself getting a micro compact in .30 Super Carry.

I was tempted by the M&P30 Shield PLUS in the past...

Heck, get Walther to make a variation of the PPK chambered in .30 Super Carry and I guarantee you that I'll buy/carry it!

More capacity with very similar ballistics to 9mm might make a DA/SA micro compact "9mm" (but in 30 super carry) more feasible. That's the advantage. We still haven't seen a DA/SA micro compact 9mm hit the market yet. If you can't tell, I'm a DA/SA guy.

30 Super Carry prices actually aren't that far off from 9mm right now: 30 Super Carry Ammo | Best 30 Super Carry Ammunition - AmmoSeek.com 2023

Excellent, now if only Walther would release a new PPK chambered in .30 Super Carry, then I would get right on that.

IMHO it's nothing but a money grab and a solution to a problem that doesn't exist - nothing else! You have 9mm and .380 acp - no need for one in the middle. Try to get ammo for that 10 years down the road when the flame dies out - good luck! It will go the way of the 357 max. etc.

I would consider a micro DA/SA carry gun along the size of a shield + but not in 30SC. I’m fully invested in 9mm, 45 ACP and see no need FOR MY requirements to need another caliber.

Others may want the 30 SC, but FOR ME, I don’t see it as anything special.

I don’t buy a lot of guns, but I would at least look at a 30 Super Carry in DA/SA. I prefer the DA/SA action.

I would look hard at a DA/SA micro pistol but I am not really interested in 30 Super Duper Carry.

There is just not advantage there to warrant having to stock another (probably boutique) caliber.

It's tough to say for myself. I'm very happy with my P365 and Grand Power Q1S. But, to have a weapon similar in size as the Sig but carry 4 more rounds in a pocket? Tempting. Summers are too hot for the GP, so small and multiple rounds? I'm in.

I would rock it in .30 or 9mm, but I really want a seven shot moon clipped .30 super carry Kimber K6s / scandium k frame, or six shot 640 versions (since they discontinued the .327 variants like the 632)
