Congratulations!

I had no clue that was a Pearce adapter. I found one in a local consignment shop case. Works great!

I am seriously thinking about using stainless steel blacking compound on my 6906. It's an import and the slide has scuffs from holster wear and handling. Can't do too much about the frame but the black slide would look great.

I carry this old 6904 in the colder months when I can conceal more than my 3913. It has a little holster wear but I've put nearly 1000 rounds through it so far with no problems. Usually I'll use these Mec Gar 17 round mags with adapters I got on Gunbroker. Not the prettiest looking things ever, but 17+1 from a gun originally holding 12+1 is a great improvement. No combination of magazine and ammo I've tested has given me issues.

Well, a thread resurrection! Same gun from up above!

It so happens that I took this 6906 out over the weekend for the first time in years. I was shooting a B-27 silhouette target at a reasonable combat distance and I turned to the friend that was with me to say that the gun was shooting low. I certainly didn't remember that it did that. I adjusted for that and BOY HOWDY!!! PERFECTION!!!!!!!! I do so love 3rd Gen S&Ws!

With the exception of my 5906 all of my 3rd Gens shoot low if I use 115gr 9mm. The shoot about 5 inches low as it happens. With 124gr they shoot about an inch low, but they are spot on (if I do my part) with 147gr.

I shot my new to me 3913LS with 124 and it was really sweet and accurate. I used 124gr in my 3953TSW for my TX qualification course it was right where it needed to be. The trigger pull is long, but it was designed to be similar to the DA pull on a revolver.
