3913 NOVAK’S?
What’s the significance of this 3913 with the Novak marking on the slide? Custom work by Novak?

They did an action job on a 3913 I had many years ago and they didn't apply their logo to it. I have 3 full custom Browning Hi-Power builds done by Novaks and only 1 has their logo on the slide. I have 3 full custom 1911's built by Novaks and none of them have the logo. Not sure what their criteria was for applying the logo.

Might be possible to contact Novak’s with the SN and ask them, although I don’t know if you’ll get an answer.
While I certainly realize the 3913 is extremely popular, especially in this forum, it’s a model that’s never interested me. With that said, if I were shopping and two appeared, one of them wearing that Novak’s logo… that’s surely the one I’d choose if the prices were similar.

Possibly it had Night Sight installed by them?
There's some white lettering(?) on the rear sight which is often found on Night Sights.

Kinda looks like it's been de-horned. All the sharp angular edges on the slide have been softened.
Cheers
