Regardless what they are.
I am so happy that R has applied his appreciation, experience, interest and knowledge in art and applied it to S&W pistols. His canvas is steel and his commitment to detail and excellence is unparalleled. Even when he was just using a file or two.
I asked if he would be willing to work on an extra CS40 slide for me. (Thought about going the 10mm route with it.) I think it was his first CS but he probably tells everyone that.
Fortunately he agreed. Unfortunately so many here howled about “ruining” a CS and why do that, (spend the money,) on a “used” CS40. “Slide is going to be too light.” It is not.
My CS40 is way beyond the Value Line Series it originally was. guzzitaco also did the BMCM rear sight mod and “reblued” some controls. TercGen did the grips and oldman10mm sold me MANY 4513TSW mag bases. With the CS40 top end on my CS45, (thanks again JohnHL for the convertible idea,) it is a piece of functional art. At least to me.
I got another, (another,) extra barrel just in case but I’m still apprehensive about the 10mm mod.
There’s going to be some redundancy starting with me but so what, let’s see them.
