The same way you do on the 9mm and the 10mm/45 ACP metal receiver pistols. The disconnector plunger and spring, as well as the firing pin safety plunger and spring, are contained beneath the rear sight. If you decide to remove the magazine disconnect, it has been recommended to put the slide inside a plastic bag so if the plungers and springs launch out of the slide as the sight is removed, they won't get lost. Personally, I have not found a real need to remove either one.
