SW990L holster question

I have been looking for a holster for a friends 990L. Would a holster for a SW99 work? I also heard a holster for a Glock 30 would work. True or not?
He doesn't want anything fancy, just a plain OWB for range use, like a Fobus etc.
I've found a couple, but don't want him to order on my recommendation if they won't work.

Since the SW99 ~ SW99 QA SW990 ~ SW990L are all listed in the same S@W Instruction manual one would think your assumption is correct. You might also look for Walther P99 applications. Uncle Mike's hip holster, size 15, works fine for my SW99 for range use.

I have several variation of the SW/P99, they all fit the same holster very nicely.

Same here. Whether it's the SW99 .40 Compact or .45 Full size.
