Short answer, yes. Especially if it is an early one.

I guess. TEU0xxx so far I been told it went to Quantico FBI and then back to S&W. I assume it was never issued . So basically just an academy gun. Which I supose doesn't really make it an FBI gun (???). I am lost . Lol . I like it anyway.

Yes, certainly an FBI gun, just never carried in the real world. Was used in the first batch sent to Quantico for testing. It probably touched more agents hands then agent issued ones, I would imagine. These are the most valuable of the FBI guns too, if that matters to you.

Thanks. I had a interesting experience with it when decided to go shoot it yesterday morning. Loaded the magazine with 9 rounds of SIG brand 10mm ammo , used six o'clock hold on std. BE target and fired nine shots standing at 25 yards taking my time.

When I looked , there was a 9 shot group RIGHT at six o'clock with perfect windage. Group was about 2 1/2 inches , with best 7 measuring a little over an inch.

I shot MANY large frame S&W pistols and they did not shoot like that . Did I get a good one ? Or that is how 1076 supposed to shoot? Thanks.

I don't think the gun has anything to do with it. Sounds to me like you're a good shot.
