I heard mags for the Daewoo DP-51 work just fine in the model 59, can anyone confirm this?

I CAN confirm that S&W 59 mags work in the DP-51 as I own one.

I no longer own a Daewoo, but as I recall, 59 series mags work in the Daewoo, but stick out a fraction of an inch below the bottom of the grip. I think the Daewoo mags are just a hair short of working in the 59, but do OK in a 69 series pistol. Maybe somebody can confirm this.

Sluf is correct. I own both, and the Daewoo mag is too short to lock in a 59 series pistol. The 59 mags do fit the Daewoo, lock and feed fine, but do stick out a bit from the butt. Hope this answers the question conclusively.
