Good news for me. I just picked up a 1076 on Auction arms. Maybe some of you guys saw it on there. If you want to take a look the auction number was 9012935. Only paid $576 which I think is a bargain. It has the "Caution, capable of firing without magazine." It also has the checkered pattern on the front part of the grip. Also, through this thread (part of the reason I started it) gave me some serial numbers of confirmed FBI types and the serial number of this gun falls inbetween those numbers. Obviously I will need to verify it through S and W, but I will let you guys know. Take a look if the auction is still available to view and tell me what you think.
