Default Sw 4006 control number on frame slide barrel ??

I found a 4006 with a control number POO on slide barrel and frame it has a bobbed hammer the trigger and hammer are stainless. The double action is smooth as butter I dont thik the safe is a decock type I think its a safe and decock the guns number starts wit VCKxxxx whos polce gun is it . they want 450 its not beat up . Also found a mint 4006 in box blued ham and trig adj site looks unfired what one shoud I get ? same price

Both sound like a good deal. I would probably go for the mint one. If the other one actually had a department logo on it, I would get that.

The one with the control number has no pd marking .it has some holster wear but not alot . the other gun is mint in box . The pd gun is smooth da trigger then reg da /sa and a little older gun . Both 450 I dont know which one to get????????

The mint one will hold its value better, but right now 4006's are too common to be collectors items. Unless the one with the control number has some special feature, I would always go with the one in better shape. Either way you will end up with a nice gun, my 4006 is great,
