Default New member-CS9 question

Hello - I'm a new member to this great forum.
I recently acquired a 9mm SS CS9 in excellent condition.
The pistol fires and functions perfectly; however, it appears that the previous owner disabled the mag. safety, because the pistol will fire w/o a magazine.
Since I have other S&W gen. 3 pistols with mag. safeties, I need all of them to function the same to avoid a potential accident. Is this a simple fix, or something S&W or a gunsmith will need to repair?
Thanks for any suggestions.

the parts are under the rear sight.

if you sight is plastic, alot of times you can move them with moderate finger pressure.

you will need a plastic plunger and spring
