Smile My first SW40VE!!!! have questions please help

Hello, I purchased an sw40ve a week ago. I bought it as a package from this guy who needed the money, it came with 1 10rd mag, 5 14rd mags, true glow night sights, holster, a black carrying gun case all for 375. I purchased 2 houge grips for it so it now has a rubber grips over its plastic checkered grips. My first question is that 375 for all of this is that a good price? Im not regretting my purchase but just want to know ^_^. I took it to the range and fired 50rounds through her and no jams or any problems beside the fact that I ran out of ammo. My question is that he said he installed the tru glow sights on it 2 years ago and I was wondering how long will it last until the lights go out? Its pretty accurate and I dont have a problem with the trigger and I dont know what is the hype about people slamming the sigmas for I really belive this gun is very reliable I wont hesitate to bring this gun with me anywhere and it always next to my bed when Im asleep this sigma is very dependable. the serial number of the gun is PBB9945 is there any recalls on it that I need to send it in for? Who all have sigmas out there? Please introduce you to me as I am new with my gun and I hope to get as much info as I can! thanks all Anh.

The night sights should be god for another 10 years or so. have you noticed how heavy the trigger is? These guns got dogged a lot and I think it was partially just because it's a butt ugly gun, and if I am not mistaken, Glock sued S&W and won the lawsuit for S&W basicly copying some of the design from glock and incorporating it into this gun. If you like the gun and got a good deal on it thats great. I don't doubt that this is a reliable and tough gun.....it'll last you for years if you take are of it!

Thumbs up

With the sights, holster and mags I'd say a very fair price.

Nice purchase. I just bought one in nine myself. Im not going to say the price I paid for mine because I believe I got screwed but I will say it was a bit more then yours and it only came with 2 mags. How do you like the Hogue Grips?

You can't beat the SW9VE or SW40VE with a stick. It's a great deal and a nice gun. I've got the SW9VE and I like it alot.

to joker84 the hogue grip are very nice! it makes the gun easier to grip on and little less cheap with the plastic grips you know? this gun isn't butt ugly it just not handsome ok?lol no it looks just like a glock but with better grips and fraction price. I really think this gun going to last me a while like 10years plus be worth my money. I will take great care of it, infact first night when I clean it I told my gun I take care of you you take care of me.
