Switching Sigma barrels

First question; can a 9VE barrel be switched out with the 40VE barrel and vise versa?

Second question; where can Sigma barrels be purchased? I have checked the S&W website and Googled it but can't find anything on them.

No, the .40 has a wider slide & breachface. Midway use to show them as special order. Stormlake had a few.
