Can the barrel and Mag of a 9mm SD fit into a SD40?

Hi,
Was just wondering if a 9mm barrel and magazine from a S&W SD 9 would fit and work in a S&W SD 40? I have a G27 and I can switch out out the mags and barrel to have G26 in 9mm. Just wondered if anyone has done this or if it can even be done? Thanks for any info!

It would have been nice if you could simply swap out barrels and mags though.
 
Most of those links are for the Sigma. Is the SD no different? I'm aware this is an old post, but I can't find anything else on it.
