Default A New .22 Revolver

I'd really like to see S&W come out with a new "M" model.
If NAA can make a mini revolver in 22Mag, due to better steel,
a Ladysmith size plinker would be a joy to shoot/carry. JMHO

Did a search before starting a "new" topic on this very subject hence the revival of an old thread. I like my J frame for it's simplicity and reliability. Sometimes it's a little large for my personal EDC requirements. A smaller than J frame revolver in 22mag with maybe 6 rounds, DAO in all stainless. Maybe a smidge larger than a NAA revolver with the mechanics of my 640 38spl. Where do I preorder? S&W can designate the model number, I don't care.

Stay safe, John

I agree, but I would like it like a Bodyguard so you could thumb cock it when you wanted two.

Make it the size of the old style S&W revolvers, that were indeed smaller than even the J frame. Make it in 22 Mag, with an extra cylinder in 22LR.

I carry one of the Original Freedom Arms Mini Revolvers in 22 Mag, with a 1.2" barrel 100% of the time, where ever I go. It is a 4 shot revolver.
I also have a 22LR cylinder for it.

Here on my place I carry it with 4 Magnum shotshells, for snakes, and such.

When I leave the property I load it up with 22 Mag HP ammo.
When I am hunting I carry it with 2 Magnum shotshells, again for snakes, and two 40 gr solids, for finishers on deer and pigs.

I have killed several snakes with it, and used it for finishers on 2 pigs and 2 coyotes.

It is amazing how accurate the little revolver is.

Also it is suprising at how much more powerful the 22 Mag is over the 22LR. Even in this short barrel.

The 22LR will not penetrate a 55 gal steel barrel. The 22 Mag, both the 40gr HP and the 40gr Solids penetrate the 55 gal drum, no problem...

I have killed several big rattle snakes, one 54" long, and several diamondback water snakes over 40" long with it. I have never had to shoot one more than twice with the CCI/Speer shotshells.

A little petite DA 22Mag S&W would be an excellent revolver.

I would definately buy one...

I'd like to see a ten shot s&w L frame revolver with 22s,l,lr and 22wmr capabilities. Give me the two extra cylinders.

I carry nothing but a magnum revolver at my camp that's in the heart of bear country.

Try the 351 PD or its hammer less brother...wood grips are slim..those minis make great belt buckles...

I'll be second on the order list. I have been so tempted with the 351C but I really would like something like it in stainless.
